f:320 -    Maintaining relations with a non-Mahram girl

Question:     One of my friends is roaming with a Muslim girl and wants to marry her.  Is this correct?

Answer:     Islam teaches modesty and chastity.  It teaches us the rules of modest dressing and of Hijab.  An illicit relation between 2 unrelated (non-Mahram) people is a very serious sin and it inflames the anger of Allah Most High.  

The Shariah has declared relations or free mixing with any non-Mahram as impermissible and forbidden (Haraam).  Let alone committing any indecent act, Allah Most High has prohibited us from even approaching them.  

...come not nigh to shameful deeds, whether open or secret;

(Surah Anaam-151)

Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils)

(Surah Isra-32)

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:

Translation:  Whoever looks at the beauty of a non-Mahram woman with desire, on the Day of Judgment, molten lead will be poured into his eyes.  

(Hidayah, Kitab Ul Karahiyya, Pg No. 4, Pg No. 458)

Touching/caressing a non-Mahram is strictly prohibited.  There are warnings in the Hadith for this.  There is a Hadith:

Translation:  Whoever touches a non-Mahram, on the Day of Judgment, an ember of fire will be placed on that hand.  

(Hidayah, Kitabul Karahiyya, Vol. 4, Pg No. 459)

If your friend wants to marry that girl, there is no problem in the light of the Shariah.  

And Allah Most High knows best.
