f:316 -    What should we call Jannatul Baqi - Jannatul Baqee or simply Baqee

Question:     Assalam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakutuhu, Can we call Jannatul Baqi or should we call it Baqi only?

Answer:     Walaikum Assalam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakutuhu , in Muhshi Tirmidhi, Anwar Shah Kashmiri has recorded a Hadith in which the words Jannatul Baqee are mentioned.  Thus, he records the following Hadith in the interpretation of the Hadith which comes in Jame’ Tirmidhi, Vol. 1, pg 202:

Translation:  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) went to Jannatul Baqee and lifted both of His blessed hands and prayed.

In the above mentioned Hadith, the word “Jannat” are clearly used for Jannatul Baqee.
