f:19 - Surah Fatiha in Tashahud	Country : , Name :

Question: If a person recites Surah Fatiha after tashahud instead of Durood Ibrahim in the last qaida, what should that person do? ............................................................................
Answer: There are 3 possible cases here: 1. If after reciting tashahud, somebody mistakenly recites Surah Fatiha in the last rakaat, then sajdah sahw is not compulsory (Wajib) for that person. 2. If a person recites Surah Fatiha instead of the tashahud, then sajdah sahw is compulsory. 3. In the same way, if first Surah Fatiha is recited, then tashahud, sajdah sahw becomes compulsory. As given in Fatawa Alamgiri, Vol I, “The Book of Salaat.”
