f:1181 -    Covering ears in Ihraam due to cold

Name : Syed Shahid Ali
Question:     Because of cold a person covered his ears with his Ihraam.  Does he have to expiate in any way?

Answer:     For men in Ihraam, it is necessary to keep the whole head uncovered.  There is no problem if they cover the ears or the nape of the neck.  As mentioned in Durre Mukhtaar, Kitaab Ul Hajj.
