Question:     Assalamualaikum! Mufti Sahab, I heard about your website from My friends.  I have a question.  I am feeling ashamed to ask this question, but it is necessary.  When I watch TV, while watching some porn scenes, a thick fluid comes out.  Can we offer Salaat with only washing this or is it Wajib to have a bath?

Answer:     Seeing an non-mahram woman and seeing porn scenes is strictly forbidden, be it on the TV, internet or directly.  This act has its harmful effects in this world and in the afterlife as well.  This takes one away from the Mercy of Allah Most High.  Almighty Allah has cursed the person who indulges in this.  

Translation: This is a Mursal Hadith from Hadhrat Hasan Basri.  He said that I have been told this Hadith that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Allah Most High has cursed the one who deliberately sees and the one who reveals without a reason.  

(Shu'abul Iman, Hadith No: 7538)

It is compulsory for you to stop this act.  You should be fearful of disobeying Allah Most High and should repent on the past sins and make a firm resolve not to repeat the sin again.  The shame which you felt while asking this question is a sign of your faith (Imaan).  Increase this shame so much that you eye does not turn towards any nudity of any kind.

The thick fluid which comes out is called "madhi" (the fluid which comes out before semen).  This invalidates the Wudhu (ablution), but a full bath (Ghusl) does not become Compulsory (Wajib) because of it.  

And Allah Most High knows best.
