f:392 - Touching the Holy Quran with the Wuzu performed for Salaat Ul Janazah

Question: If we make Wuzu with the intention of offering Salaat Ul Janazah, can we offer some other Salaat with the same Wuzu or we have to perform another Wuzu? If we touch the Holy Quran with that Wuzu, will we sinning? Please answer this question.

Answer:
No matter what the intention in performing the Wudhu, it grants us absolute purity. Thus, with the Wudhu performed for Salaat Ul Janazah, other Salaat can be performed, the Holy Quran can be recited and the circumambulation (Tawaf) of the Ka’aba can be done. As given in Radd Ul Muhtaar, Vol. 1, Kitab Ut Taharah.
