Question: What is the method of offering the 3 raka?at of Witr after Isha.

Answer:
Witr Salaat has 3 raka’at like the Fardh Salaat of Maghrib, the difference is that in Witr it is Wajib to recite another Surah after Surah Fatiha in all the 3 raka’at. In the 3rd raka’at, after reciting another Surah after Surah Fatiha, say the Takbeer and raise the hands up to the ear lobes and again fold the hands and recite Dua Qunoot softly. The rest of the Salaat is the same as any other.
