Major sins and hypocrisy-II

Major sins and hypocrisy-II

Seven things are fatal

[54/4]-It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Desist from the 7 things, which are fatal. People asked: O Prophet of Allah, what are those 7 things? The Prophet said: (1) Ascribing partners to Allah, (2) sorcery, (3) murdering someone killing whom Allah Most High has prohibited, (4) taking usury, (5) embezzling the wealth of orphans, (6) running away from Jihaad and (7) falsely accusing virtuous, innocent, nave Muslim women of adultery.

Bukhari and Muslim have unanimously related this Hadith.

Those grave sins when committing whom, one does not remain a believer

[55/5]-It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: When a fornicator fornicates, then he does not remain a believer when he is committing the act. Similarly, when a thief is stealing, he does not remain a believer when he is committing the act. When a person drinks wine, then he does not remain a believer when committing the act. When a plunderer is plundering and people look at him with fear and horror in a state of hopelessness, he does not remain a believer. When anyone of you cheats, then he does not remain a believer when in the act. Thus, desist from them (the aforementioned sins)! Desist!

Bukhari and Muslim have unanimously related this Hadith.

[56/6]-It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas (May Allah be well pleased with him): When a murderer murders, then his faith departs when committing the act. ‘Akrama asked Hadhrat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas (May Allah be well pleased with them): How is faith taken away? Hadhrat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas (May Allah be well pleased with them) said: Like this! And he brought the fingers of both hands together making a mesh and then withdrew them. He then said: If that person repents, then faith is returned in the same way and again brought his fingers together making a mesh.
