All the biographers agree on her Islam.  She would not only help Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her) but would also stand by her in the ups and downs of life.  As she stayed in the service of Hadhrat ‘Ali (May Allah be well pleased with him), the gateway of knowledge, and Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her), she also became a high-ranking scholar.

She had extreme love for Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her).  Imam Tabari (May Allah shower His Mercy on him) says when Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her) passed away, Hadhrat Fizza (May Allah be well pleased with her) was also present in her Funeral Bath.

When the bier of Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her) was about to be carried away, Hadhrat ‘Ali (May Allah be well pleased with him) called out to the family members:  O Umm Kulthoom, O Zainab, O Fizza, O Hasan, O Hussain, come and see your mother for the last time.  After this, you will meet her only in paradise.  It was as if Hadhrat Fizza (May Allah be well pleased with her) was also considered to be a member of the family.

After the demise of Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her), Hadhrat Fizza (May Allah be well pleased with her) served Hadhrat Zainab bint ‘Ali (May Allah be well pleased with him).

Some narrations say that after the demise of Hadhrat Fatima (May Allah be well pleased with her), Hadhrat ‘Ali (May Allah be well pleased with him) married Hadhrat Fizza to Abu Th’alaba, the Abyssinian (May Allah be well pleased with them).  After the death of Abu Th’alaba (May Allah be well pleased with him), she was married to Abu Sulaik Ghatfani.  Some biographers say that Hadhrat Fizza (May Allah be well pleased with her) had 1 daughter and 5 sons.

She passed away a few years after the demise of Hadhrat Zainab bint ‘Ali (May Allah be well pleased with her).  She is buried near her grave in Syria.
