The punishment of some major sins


&nbsp;It is mentioned in the Hadith that the person who sleeps in an intoxicated state, that person remains in the marriage of Satan for the whole night. &nbsp;When morning comes, a bath (Ghusl) is Compulsory on that person. &nbsp;That person should perform a full ritual bath (Ghusl-e-Janaabat). &nbsp;If he doesn&rsquo;t then no Salaat, obligatory, Sunnah or supererogatory will be accepted. <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>It is also mentioned that the person who drinks wine in this world will be deprived of the wine of the hereafter. &nbsp;The person who drinks wine at night will get up as a polytheist in the morning and the person who drinks wine in the day will remain a polytheist until dusk.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>It is also mentioned that wine is the mother of all evils and a compendium of all evils and with Allah, a drunkard is like an idol-worshipper and accursed. &nbsp;A wine-drinker is a denier of all divine books and epistles. &nbsp;Wine and faith can&rsquo;t be at one place together. &nbsp;Thus, all forms of wine and all drugs are forbidden.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Imam Masruq (May Allah shower His mercy on him) says: &nbsp;When thieves, wine-drinkers and adulterers die without repentance, Almighty Allah impose 2 poisonous snakes on them and they will keep biting them until the Day of Judgment.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Three kinds of persons will never enter paradise: &nbsp;A wine-drinker, the one who hurts parents, the one without any sense of honor and fervor.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has cursed that person who drinks wine or sells it or accepts payment for it.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Feeling constrained on the coming of a guest, bawling in sorrow, beating one&rsquo;s chest, tearing clothes and the like, backbiting and jealousy are all sins.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Adultery is also one of the worst sins among evil deeds. &nbsp;Allah Most High and His Beloved Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) are strictly displeased with it. &nbsp;All the 8 doors of hell are opened in the grave of the adulterers. &nbsp;Snakes and scorpions will keep biting them until the Day of Judgment.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>The curse of Almighty Allah is on those who use intoxicants. &nbsp;Snakes and scorpions will be on them in their graves and they will be made to wear shoes of fire which will boil their brain.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Hadhrat &lsquo;Abdullah bin Mas&rsquo;ud (May Allah be well pleased with him) says: &nbsp;The face of the wine-drinker will turn away from the Qibla in the grave.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>[Excerpted from Mawaaiz-e-Hasana, Vol. 2]</div>
