f:48 -    Wearing locket of Allah and going to bathroom
Country : India,
Name : Ali Khan

Question:
If somebody has a locket of Allah SWT (i.e. on which Allah SWT is written in some way), can that person take it in the bathroom?

.....................................................................................................................................
Answer:
The blessed name of Allah ought to be respected.  Its reverence and grandeur demand that it should not be taken to an unclean place like a bathroom.  The Jurists have explained that if "Allah" or the blessed name of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is inscribed on the ring, then it is Commendable (Mustahab) that the person should hide the ring in the sleeve while going to the bathroom or remove it.

As given in Radd ul Muhtaar, Vol. 5.

And Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) knows best.
