Handling a cell phone with the Holy Quran in it

Nowadays internet is available in cell phones as well.  The Holy Quran can be downloaded in the cell phone itself and the audio files or the soft copy of the Holy Quran can be saved in the cell phone.  My question is, is it correct to download the Holy Quran in the mobile phone and if the Holy Quran is in the mobile phone then can we touch the cell phone without Wudhu?

Answer:     Downloading the Holy Quran in the cell phone and saving it is permissible in light of the Shariah.  If the words of the Holy Quran are appearing on the screen, then touching it without Wudhu is not correct.  However, if the Holy Quran is saved in the cell phone and the words themselves aren’t being expressed on the screen, then handling the cell phone without Wudhu is permissible.  As mentioned in Al Jawahir An Nayyira, Kitaab Ut Taharah, Babul Haidh.

And Allah Most High knows best.
