Haraam currency and Halal currency

If Haraam money is mixed with Halal money, then the whole money becomes Haraam.  Isn?t it?  This is what is happening in ATM services and banks.  Please answer this question in light of Fiqh Hanafi.

As per the Hanafi school of jurisprudence, the grains and other material things are specified for the individual, but currency notes, coins, etc. are not.  Thus, if unlawful currency and lawful currency is mixed, then the amount of money which is unlawful will be considered unlawful and the amount, which is lawful, will remain lawful.

In light of this, in ATMs, etc. when lawful and unlawful currency is mixed, the lawful amount does not become unlawful.

As given by Allam Ibn Nujaim Misri (May Allah shower His mercy on him) in Al Bahr Ur Raaiq, Sharh Kanz Ud Daqaaiq, Kitab Ul Bu'yoo Fi Fasli Ahkami Ba'yil Fasid.

And Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) knows best.
