On which hand should we wear the watch

I have seen that some people tie their watches on the left hand and some on the right.  What does Islam say about this?

Tying the watch on either hand is permissible.  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would take good things from the right side.  A watch is also a means of achieving good.  It conveys the time for Salaat, fasts and other such things, so wearing the watch on the right hand side is better.

If we deduce is ruling on the basis of the ring, then wearing a ring on either hand is established the Hadith.  Thus, wearing a watch on either hand is permissible.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
